ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Yvette Wilburn was born in Detroit, Michigan. She is a poet and an author. She is hosting a Christian radio program showcasing Christian poetry. She is a member of the Called and Ready Writers in Detroit, where Minister Mary Edwards is the founder and Wanda J Burnside is the president of this Christian Writing Group.
Yvette holds a B.S. Degree in English and is currently working on Masters in Inclusionary Education at University of Detroit Mercy. She is a second grade teacher at Thirkell Elementary School. Her plan for the future is to start a Christian Literacy Center.
Yvette is a single parent of three adult children, Randon, Shaundra, and Michael. She also has three grandchildren, Brandy, Jeremiah, and Lenaysiah.
Yvette is a member and psalmist at Praise Fellowship Christian Church in Detroit under the leadership of Pastors Gwayland and Vanessa McCleney.

On most Sundays, if I could read towards the beginning of your service.
Wednesday evenings 6:00- 9:00 p.m.
Most Friday evenings 6:00-10:00 p.m.
Most Saturdays- Flexible
I am also available for retreats, conventions, prayer breakfasts, and youth revivals. I have written poems on request for certain events. So keep me in mind for any of your poetry needs.
